Important Advisory Regarding Unofficial Solicitations and Scams

At DEMA Show, the safety and security of our exhibitors, attendees, and partners are of utmost importance to us. DEMA does not sell or provide contact lists of DEMA Show attendees to any businesses or members. Solicitations offering DEMA Show attendee lists are unauthorized and should be considered fraudulent and inaccurate.

Please be advised of the following scams and unauthorized solicitations.

Report Unauthorized Solicitations

If you encounter suspicious solicitations or unauthorized communications, report them to DEMA Show Management at +1 703-706-8200 or info@demashow.com.

NOTE: A Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Rule went into effect in April 2024 to combat AI impersonation. If you have been targeted by impersonation scams like hotel reservations or email list sales, report it directly to the FTC.

Unofficial Solicitors Offering Services

Certain organizations reach out to entities within the dive industry, falsely claiming to provide DEMA Show Attendee lists or offering show guide/directory listings. Please note that DEMA Show is proprietary and any such list is confidential, accessible only to DEMA Show exhibitors through our official registration vendor, CompuSystems.

DEMA does not charge exhibitors for listings on DEMAShow.com, the electronic Show Guide & Directory, or in the DEMA Show mobile app.

Don't Let Housing Pirates Play You

Sham housing companies actively target trade show exhibitors and attendees with deceptive offers for hotel rooms at discounted rates. These imposters often lead to significant financial losses, hidden costs, and bait-and-switch schemes. They are NOT affiliated with DEMA Show or our official hotel block.

If you encounter such offers, do not provide any credit card information. Report them immediately to DEMA Show and the FTC (see above).

Hotel Reservations

All hotel reservations should booked directly through DEMA Show. DEMA Show does not contract with any vendor to provide hotel discounts. If you receive communications from a vendor not listed above, contact NTP Events immediately at info@demashow.com.
