Candice Gunning
Candice studied Marine Biology in her home country England. In 2021 she moved to the Maldives where she joined Sub Oceanic Maldives as resident Marine Biologist at Le Meridien Maldives.
During her time at Le Meridien Maldives and with her extraordinary outgoing, refreshing and friendly manner she was able to engage her guests in a way like no one else could have done. Candice has spread awarness about the importance of marine habitats in a pretty wide range. Her work was even presented in several international media publications like the Cosmopolitan, Hotel Insider or Prestige Travel magazine. Candice is specialized in Sea Turtles.
In 2022 Candice became also an SSI Instructor. In 2023 Candice moved to another island as she got promoted within Sub Oceanic Maldives as Assistant Dive Center Manager at Hilton Maldives. In 2024 she even made it up to the position as Dive Center Manager at Hilton Maldives.
As a real powerwoman Candice is nowadays performing a triple role at Sub Oceanic Hilton Maldives as Resident Marine Biologist, Diving Instructor & Dive Center Manager - and all that with a constant smile!
